1 СФЕРА ЗАСТОСУВАННЯ

Цей стандарт установлює вимоги до виконання несівних сталевих конструкцій, тобто власне конструкцій чи їхніх компонентів, які вироблено з:
- гарячекатаних виробів із конструкційних сталей марок до S700 включно;
- холодноформованих компонентів та листових матеріалів марок до S700 включно (якщо це не входить до сфери застосування EN 1090-4);
- гарячеоброблених та холодноформованих виробів з аустенітних, аустенітно-феритних та феритних нержавких сталей;
- гарячеоброблених та холодноформованих конструкційних порожнистих профілів, зокрема прокатних виробів стандартної номенклатури та виготовлених за спеціальним замовленням, а також порожнистих зварних профілів.
Для компонентів, виготовлених з холодноформованих компонентів та холодноформованих конструкційних порожнистих компонентів, що входять до сфери застосування EN 1090-4, вимоги EN 1090-4 мають перевагу над відповідними вимогами цього стандарту.
Цей стандарт може бути застосовано також для марок конструкційних сталей до S960 включно, якщо умови виконання відповідають критеріям надійності та якщо визначено будь-які необхідні додаткові вимоги.
Цей стандарт установлює вимоги незалежно від типу та конфігурації сталевої конструкції (наприклад, будівлі, мости, листові або ґратчасті компоненти), зокрема конструкції, що піддаються втомному навантаженню або сейсмічному впливу. Деякі з цих вимог визначають за допомогою класів виконання.
Цей стандарт поширюється на конструкції, розроблені згідно з відповідною частиною EN 1993. Шпунтові палі, забивні палі та мікропалі, розроблені згідно з EN 1993-5, має бути виконано відповідно до EN 12063, EN 12699 та EN 14199. Цей стандарт застосовують тільки до виконання обв’язки, в’язей та з’єднань.
Цей стандарт застосовують до сталевих частин сталезалізобетонних конструкцій, запроектованих за вимогами відповідної частини EN 1994.
Цей стандарт можна застосовувати для конструкцій, розроблених за іншими правилами проектування, якщо умови виконання узгоджуються з ними та якщо встановлено будь-які необхідні додаткові вимоги.
Цей стандарт містить вимоги до приварювання арматурних сталей до конструкційних сталей. Цим стандартом не охоплено вимоги щодо використання арматурних сталей для залізобетонних виробів.
